APQC Process Models in System Architect

APQC (American Productivity & Quality Center) helps organizations work smarter, faster, and with greater confidence. It is the world’s foremost authority in benchmarking, best practices, process and performance improvement, and knowledge management. The members of the APQC have created sets of process models to act as templates or guides for organizations to help build the process models of their own organization.

The APQC has established a 5-level process model set for each of the following industries:

Aerospace & Defense
Airline
Automotive
Banking
Broadcasting
City Government
Consumer Electronics

Corrosion
Consumer Products
Downstream Petroleum
Education
Health Insurance Payor
Healthcare Provider
Insurance

Life Sciences
Retail
Telecommunications
Upstream Petroleum
Utilities

The process models are intended to be used like a dictionary -- which provides the meanings of words, and leaves it up to the user to compose them in sentences.

The APQC provides these process models for free in the form of pdfs and Excel spreadsheets.

This download provides a series of System Architect encyclopedias with the process models already established in the form of BPMN 2.0 models in System Architect.
